Through its web site the ART & Toiles Gallery proposes for on-line sale the works of art (referred to as the 'Objects') shown on the specific pages of this site: Works of Art, paintings, catalogues.

Indicative price categories are shown on each page. However the price of each Object is the price communicated by e-mail in response to specific requests from customers.

Prices are denominated in euros; prices in dollars are indicative only as they will vary with the exchange rate of the day. Payment is in euros. However payment in

other currencies can be accepted by the Gallery, in which case a currency exchange  charge will be invoiced in addition to the price.

Sales are on a cash basis, payable in one instalment, unless by specific prior agreement with the Galley for its existing  customers. In the case of delayed payment, the Object may be retained by the Gallery until payment in full, at the Gallery's sole discretion.

The exact condition of the Objects can be communicated on request to potential purchasers. The Gallery only sells original Objects. If several purchasers order the same Object, and since each Object is unique, priority will be given to the Gallery's existing customers, and to non-French residents.

Transport by insured registered post is at the charge of the purchaser. However, at the purchaser's request, transport can be arranged through specialist companies such as DHL, UPS, Fedex, etc.)

Customers should confirm their order by e-mail after confirmation of terms by ART & Toiles, also by e-mail.

An order becomes irrevocable on reception  of the purchase price by the Gallery's bank. The customer will be informed of the shipping date, which will take place on reception of the purchase price. The Gallery will accept no exchanges or. refunds; however in France and  the European Community the French laws on mail order will apply.

Payment can be made:

-by cheque to Madame Arlette Gilleron, 49 avenue Mazarin, 91380 Cilly-Mazarin, France ;

-by SWIFT transfer to the Banque Nationale de Paris. In this case, the Gallery will indicate the details of the payment method by special mail..

-by Visa/Eurocard/Mastercard. In this case, the Gallery will indicate the details of the payment method by special mail.

An invoice or a certificate can be supplied on demand; outside France, an invoice is always sent with the Objects.

In compliance with article 297F of French tax law,  no Value Added Tax (VAT) can be levied on invoices for the works of art and the antiques sold by the Gallery; prices are therefore inclusive of taxes for France and the other countries of the European Community (except for sales to professionals within the

Community subject to VAT in their country) and tax free for countries outside the European Community.

Orders are subject to French law. It is the purchaser's responsibility to verify his country's regulations and possible tax obligations for the import of  the Objects ordered. ART & Toiles cannot be held responsible for any breach by the purchaser of the regulations of the country to which the Object is shipped; any such breach cannot give rise to any refund of the Object delivered outside France by ART & Toiles.

In case of dispute, the sole valid legal jurisdiction will be the French Courts, and in particular the Tribunal de Commerce de Paris for sales to professionals, both French and of foreign nationalities.
